Going to Las Vegas is many things to many people, but for us, it’s an opportunity to indulge in food and beverage. Food is in our name, and we love to break bread with our partners whenever the opportunity presents itself. So, here is a list of places we recommend (in no particular order) that you visit while you’re in Las Vegas for the 2024 CUNA Marketing & Business Development Conference at Caesar’s Palace. It’s not exhaustive, but, we think it’s a great starting point.
All times and distances are based on walking from Caesar’s Palace unless otherwise noted.
Feel free to let us know if you have other recommendations in the comments section below!
Toca Madera
Approximate Distance/Time from Caesars Palace: ~0.9 mile, ~20 minutes
If you like Mexican food, steaks, and cocktails, you’ll enjoy Toca Madera. This Mexican steakhouse, located at the Shops at Crystals (next door to Aria), has an excellent menu, and expert mixologists create the cocktails.

Eiffel Tower Restaurant
Approximate Distance/Time from Caesars Palace: ~0.4 mile, ~10 minutes
The view is stunning at this fine-dining French restaurant. The menu is classic but updated French, and you really can’t go wrong here. Reservations can be hard to get, so jump on this as quickly as possible if interested.
Best Friend (Park mgm)
Approximate Distance/Time from Caesars Palace: ~1 mile, ~7 minutes
Best Friend, located in the Park MGM, is chef Roy Choi’s Korean BBQ creation that looks like a Vegas convenience store up front, but, the restaurant is in the back.
Greg suggests the Uni Dynamite Rice and Chef’s Menu.

Rivea (Delano)
Approximate Distance/Time from Caesars Palace: ~2.5 miles, ~9 minutes
Rivea is a wonderful French/Italian restaurant atop the Delano. Start with a cocktail or three at the adjacent Skyfall Lounge and take in the view of the strip. Afterward, slide over to Rivea for a simple but inspired and delicious dinner. Leave room for dessert as you must indulge in a chocolate souffle.

Rosina cocktail lounge (Venetian)
hotel bar (waldorf astoria)
Approximate Distance/Time from Caesars Palace: ~1 mile, ~8 minutes
Located on the 23rd floor of the Waldorf Astoria, the Hotel Bar is an excellent respite from the energy of the Strip. Hotel Bar’s mixologist’s craft cocktails with local flair while you enjoy light fare from their menu. It’s a great place to enjoy a good drink in a less crowded and noisy atmosphere.

publicus
Approximate Distance/Time from Caesars Palace: ~7 miles, ~13 minutes (you’ll want to take Uber/Lyft)
Canteen-style coffeehouse on Freemont St. It’s a bit out of the way from Caesar’s Palace, but it’s worth the time if you’ve got some to spare. Try the geisha coffee and please tell us what you think in the comment section below.
